Marjan is one of the main three characters who work at the coffee shop. He goes by either Marjan or Rivers depending on who he is talking to. To other people he tries to comes off as likeable and trustful, he speaks in ways to come across as intelligent, though often contradiciting himself or unintentionally outing his hypocrisy and manipulative ways. He may often remind his co workers, more specifically Naoya, about the consequences of doing drugs and such, but intent is never to actually stop either of them from consuming them and rather to instill fear and seem as more reliable.

He definitly prefers to be in control than told what to do and enjoys making other people anxious without reason... it's just funny... He's perpetually paranoid of certain things like some people watching him.. He is mainly interested in and very intriuged by the anatomy and biology, (of people but also just in general), studying such often in theoretical and practical ways. He would've preferred not to work at a coffee shop, maybe something more practical like a doctor.. He is very smart but tends to use his intelligence in more devious than productive ways.. haha.
